MISSION STATEMENT

The 17 SDGs Executive Council, Inc.'s mission is to educate and advocate for the goals set by the United Nations as they relate to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals

(SDGs). As an advocate for the betterment of humanity, the council focuses on building community bridges increasing awareness and understanding of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and their global impacts on our communities.

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals Executive Council Inc.'s mission as a Community Economic Development and Employment Corporation CEDEC is to educate and enhance community growth and economic development as well as employment opportunities through innovative and creative initiatives such as:

• DW Green Institute, Green School: Energy and environment education, training, and employment initiatives
• DW Communication & Media: Broadcast journalism, public relations, marketing education and employment initiatives
• Global Humanitarian Chamber of Commerce: Assist in building community bridges to minimize the gap within business relations, specifically small business, and develop approaches and strategies to conduct business on a humanitarian basis.

Also, developing partnerships with community effort and collaborations are essential in achieving our goals.

BACKGROUND

The 17 SDGs Executive Council Inc, Sierra Leone chapter is a non-governmental and non-partisan organization in Sierra Leone that serves as a training ground for youth and children towards taking responsibility for the world problems encountered in society. We aim to achieve these goals through lobbying and advocating, addressing such issues. The organization seeks to educate individuals to take responsibility for responding to the global agenda before 2030. Addressing poverty, climate change, gender equality, zero hunger, and economic growth in society. We focus on enriching the potential of schools to be better citizens in society. It has mobilized youth engagement, advocacy efforts, education programs, and public events.

MISSION STATEMENT

To educate, bring awareness, and promote behavioral change related to conducting business and business relationships more humanely. Our partnering organizations: United Nations Associations of the United States of America, Southern Palmetto State Chapter, (UNA-USA, SPSC), address the 17 SDGs, energy and environmental issues, advances within technology, sustainability, social and civic justice, climate change, economic & community development—also, enrichment initiatives on a local and global scale.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The 17 SDGs Executive Council aims to address poverty in all forms, building resilient partnerships of students to work in promoting and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aim to transform our world. They are a call to action to end poverty and inequality, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy health, justice, and prosperity.

Source: United Nations. In addition, promoting and addressing health issues in society is imperative.

We believe in young children for sustainable change in society.
